Do You Know Jesus?
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

He Is Risen! Let's Celebrate!

By Sharyn Culp

     Isn't it wonderful to know that Jesus has already risen and is no longer dead on an old rugged cross?

     "He is not here; for he is risen, as he said, Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
     And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him; lo I have told you." (Matthew 28:6-7)

     Isn't it wonderful to know Jesus is alive and is already seated at the right hand of the Father and He is already interceding for you and for me?

     "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7:25)

     Isn't it wonderful to know Jesus has already died and paid the price for your sins, for you to be forgiven and be saved from your sins?

     "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up;
     That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
     For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
     For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." (John 3:14-17)

     Isn't it wonderful to know that as a child of God, a joint-heir with Jesus, Jesus has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ?

     "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." (Ephesians 1:3)

     Isn't it wonderful to know Jesus has already purchased our healing when he was beaten with 39 stripes?

     "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
     But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:4-5)

     Isn't it wonderful to know Jesus has already become poor that we might become rich?

     "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, through he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich." (II Corinthians 8:9)

     Isn't it wonderful to know Jesus has already triumphed over principalities and powers and defeated your enemies and broken every bondage in your life?

     "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it." (Colossians 2:15)

     "And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty powers,
     Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
     Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in his world, but also in that which is to come;
     And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
     Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all. (Ephesians 1:19-23)

     Isn't it wonderful to know Jesus has already been to hell and has the keys of hell and of death."

     I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." (Revelation 1:18)

     Truly, we have every reason to celebrate Jesus this Resurrection Sunday. Glory to God! Glory to God! Glory to God! He is Risen! Let's Celebrate!
