"Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from nenceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this" (Is. 9:7).
HMM Intercessors, greetings to you in the name of His Majesty! Here we all are at the end of 2015 and at the beginning of a brand new year, 2016! Hallelujah! After such a stupendous year in 2015 for HMM, Troy and I are sitting on the edge of our seats in great expectation of all His Majesty is going to orchestrate in 2016. One thing we know for sure. His Majesty is on our side to establish His Kingdom come, His will be done on earth, as it is in heaven worldwide with justice. How do we know He is on HMM's side? Because God is a covenant keeping, prayer-answering God and He never forgets a prayer. We and all you valuable HMM Intercessors have been meeting in the Spirit weekly praying the Prayer of Agreement and partaking of Holy Communion. We, in unity, have been asking Him to establish His Kingdom in the earth and in answer to our prayers, He is ordering His Kingdom, He is establishing His Kingdom and He is establishing it with judgment and with justice. How do we know? The Word tells us in Isaiah 9:7. Amen.
HMM Intercessors, the word we would like to focus on in this writing is "justice". What does it mean when the Word says God is going to establish His kingdom with justice?
Webster's defines justice as 1. a being righteous; 2. fairness; 3. a being correct; 4. sound reason; rightful; 5. reward or penalty as deserved; 6. the use of authority to uphold what is right, just, or lawful; 7. the administration of law; 8. a judge.
Unger's Dictionary states a) In theology, as in the Scriptures, the terms justice and righteousness are used synonymously. The justice of God is both an essential and a relative attribute of the divine existence. It is a necessary outflow from the holiness of God. It is the holiness of God as manifested and applied in moral government. The justice or righteousness of God is proclaimed emphatically in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments (e.g., Gen. 18:25; Psa.11:7; John 17:25; Heb. 6:10). God is the righteous Governor of this world.
What are we saying to you? We serve a God of justice. You may be saying, "Brother Troy and Prophetess Sharyn, you may have been treated justly in your lives but I haven't. You may be shaking your heads and asking us "if we have our heads in the sand" and "are you not going to acknowledge all the injustices that have been taking place in the world?? Neither, let us assure you we have experienced some harsh injustices, unfair treatment, and severe persecution for our faith and yes, we do acknowledge the injustices taking place in the world and have felt the pain of many who have been afflicted. You may be saying, "Well, what is the deal then?" Listen, God has promised the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, upon His kingdom to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. Amen. HMM Intercessors, the just (that is us) shall live by his faith (Hab.2:4b). Please allow us to suggest you lift up your shield of faith and decree Romans 8:31-39 out loud in Satan's face.
"What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:31-39, KJV).
Why don't you leap for joy when men hate you and separate you from their company?
"Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets" (Luke 6:22-23, KJV).
Please allow us to remind you our citizenship is in heaven and we are "temporarily" passing through on this earthly journey. Amen.
"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory" (2 Corinthians 4:17, KJV).
Let's get these scriptures deep down in your spirits and permit God's Word to encourage us.
"I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me, In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy;" (Hosea 2:19, NKJV).
"Here is My Servant whom I have chosen, My beloved in whom My soul delights; I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will proclaim justice to the nations" (Matt. 12:18).
